If you don't have a pressure cooker mintalyelevatid and want to to try a tek similar to grain you could always try VSOPXO's MycoRice tek which just contains whole rice. I haven't tried it myself before but I know theres a few people trying it.

Burning isn't caused by drying out, it's caused by oxidation, mostly of proteins, and sugars. I don't think 350F is enough to cause this. It might be. PCs get up to about 250F.
Maybe 300F would be a better temperature. I know paper burns at about 451F, but it will scorch below that.

Yes.

As you already figured out, you will likely bake and caramelize your rice. I never tried it though. Try and report.

sorry didnt mean to say burning is a cause of drying out. But it does have something to do with it. Water can hold alot of heat and once it is gone the only thing that will be able to hold the heat is the grain. I'm not sure when it will actually do this, but I think flower I stuck in the oven for some reason once started burning at 400F.
BTW, good link Bio.. That's exactly what I was remembering but couldn't seem to find.
