Mythical Creatures
    #7014137 -

So as dumb as a topic this may be, I was just curious as to everybody's thoughts on existance of mythical creatures. Like gnomes, Faeries, Unicorns, ect. I know this may seem childish, but think out side the box lol. What if some of these ceatures really did exist at one point in time. I mean for the stories of them be told for so long and so many things be campared to them and what not, would it be so impossible for them not to exist

I'm just trying to get a conversation going, theres not alot going on tonight.

"How do we know whether the life of any creature has fulfilled its destiny? I have known the very old to die in bitterness and despair. I have seen young children die before their time but leave behind such a legacy of love and joy that grief for their passing was tempered by the knowledge that their brief lives had given much to others."

I think there's all sorts of beings that exist on the astral realm. I've encountered a few myself. As for physical existence, no I don't see any evidence of that.

I have this lingering belief that vampires were at one time real, somehow.

I agree, I dont see any physical evidence of them but the vail between two different planes is very thing...so I believe u can still encounter them if u leave urself open and susceptable to these types of energy.

Yea I would think Vampires go in with mythical creatures to an exstent. I really think that Vampires derived from a psycho with strange ways and different rare illnesses (Dracula) I'm not so sure that they are real, but u never know. I think it'd be pretty cool though to a point.

I also theorize that most mythical creatures are metaphorical attempts to describe aspects of other dimensions of this reality. Usually, these metaphors manifest as universal character traits of which we're all capable.

For example... while I have never seen a vampire physically suck blood from someone, I have witnessed "energy vampires" who use others as a source of emotional or spiritual energy but offer neither in return. I've even BEEN the vampire at times, which is hard to admit but true...

Pardon my spelling and absurd experience, but I have seen a Chupacabra as clear as day. Nearly ran it over with my car pulling up my moms hill to her house. Freaked me the hell out.

Mythology is a personification of the psyche. Vampires to me represent the never ending allure of desire, The vampire always needs more blood but is never actually full of any life, always in thirst, always with desire. like the myth of the satyr and perhaps others they remind us of the inevitable suffering of endless desire. Buddah says the shiznoz too, free yourself of desire, still without desire nothing would ever happen ever, there must be a balance of evil/good and all that.

Look, let me explain something. I'm not Mr. Lebowski; you're Mr. Lebowski.
I'm the Dude. So that's what you  call me.  That, or Duder.  His  Dudeness.
Or El Duderino, if, you know, you're not into the whole brevity thing.

"Energy Vampires"

That's insane. I know exactly what you mean. Most don't even know that they do it, IMO. In my experience they run with this 'woe is me' game plan and steal your glow. Damn Vacuums. Hoovers. Eight pound Orecks. Toggle to blow damnit.

lol

I definitely believe Chupacabra's are real just because there's no reason for them not to exist lol.

Yea I agree there must be a ying and yang to everything, figuratively speaking. Thats why Utopia will never exist, there cant be an unbalancing amount of good over bad it just wouldn't work.

What about possibly-real creatures?
Bigfoots, for example.

Mythical creatures roam the landscape of the mind, or the astral plane or whatever you care to call it. Other than that, they're called mythical creatures for a reason. Some pretty fantastic animals exist or existed at one point, though. Dinosaurs, for example.

Do you think there are bigfoots? Do you think maybe the reason nobody has found a dead one is that they bury their dead?

I don't know about burying their dead, but I've heard enough bigfoot reports to think there might be something to it(but at this point, it's just a suspicion). I think cryptozoology is a fascinating field, and based its history, I'm sure scientists will have several surprises in the future concerning new species.

well slaying them is kinda illegal the cops dont kindly to homocide even if they are a vamp i just drain their energy, thats the thing about energy vamps they arent any bit immune they are just as veunerable as any one else. then i just balance the energy and redistribute it to people, and make the vampire person feel shitty. i love energy magic

teach them how to drain peoples energies and if their a bad person deep down they just become a vamp and do it to every person they meet. i regret teaching a good deal of people about the flow of energy. im certain i made this mistake in past lives too
