Here's one of my essays. Take the time, let it sink in. It will help you understand the general application of the term GOD and what humanity truly uses it to mean. My above explanation is real, but here on earth - the below will explain what it means: cut and paste now =======What happens to me? by Grizzy============== The human tendancy to personify "God" and "Mother Nature" is understandable but not entirely accurate. The "dieties" have no free will. They function without premeditation, cause, or intent. They simply exist as the fibers that bind our worlds and hold them together.
Here, on earth, in the real world - "Mother Nature" rules all. However, we are misguided to personify her, as she does not rest within the hands of just one spirit, as a person does. She exists only as a representation of the laws that govern our physical world. All natural occurances are nothing more than results of the right conditions being met. There is no purpose other than an appropriate reaction to specific stimulation. In other words, our physical world simply plays by the rules. It's doing what it's supposed to be doing when the proper circumstances present themselves. Our real world, being that it must adhere to the laws of physics, cannot gain nor loose mass in and of itself. Considering that as humans, we reproduce and grow, both in size and weight - one would be mislead to think that the earth has "gained weight" according to the increase by the human factor. However, as the human grows it eats and takes from the earth, the very matter that it uses to grow itself. It is well known that when a person dies, their body, in one way or another, returns to the earth and becomes, once again, a part of it. Without external interference, materials will never grow or shrink, though they change shape if tampered by time. In due time, it would seek it's roots as the elemental compounds that make up our world. Thus, our earth, despite it's flucuation of life and material, has not gained nor lost a single pound. Furthermore, every single thing that arises from the earth, returns to it in time. Every tree, every person, every rock and drop of water - all will return to their baseline state in time. In essence, everything is "leased". The laws of physics are universal, pertaining to both the material world and the world of energy. Specifically, that energy, or matter - cannot "disappear". It can only change form. As our body may seem to "disappear" over time, in reality it simply breaks down back to it's home state, and rejoins the earth. Although, would we be aware of an event such as decomposition if it happened in the blink of an eye? In those circumstances, one would not be deemed a fool to assume that it had, in fact, "disappeared". Hypothetically, assuming that decomposition took place at an incredible speed, having to deal with such an accelerated pace of time would surely hinder our progress with studying and understanding it. In fact, if the speed of decomposition was instantaneous, we would not even know it was happening, let alone what is happening.
One of our greatest human faults is that we require bearing witness with our eyes prior to acknowledging and accepting something as truth. We rely on our eyes. It's the "show me" attitude that holds back much progress. After all, if bodies decomposed instantaneously, we would never notice anything to study in the first place. They all simply "disappear". However, once we see it, we can observe it. We can measure and study it. Then, and only then, do we embrace and understand it. Imagine if you could understand it, without ever seeing it in the first place? Everybody tries to do it, everyone tries to understand what happens to us when we die. Indeed, our bodies go back to the world of reality and earth, but we are left with one question - "But what happens to me?" We speak of our soul, of the spiritual energy that drives the life within our bodies. When our body dies, it goes back it's home...the earth. Where does the energy of life and our spirit go? It seems to disappear, however - we know that cannot be true because nothing can "disappear", it can only change form. It is TIME DELAY that affects our ability to grasp the concept. Due to the fact that our energy "disappears" while our body takes much more time, we have been able to study the process of a body's transition to it's homestate. However, due to the incredible speed of the passing of the spirit, we cannot even see it, let alone begin to study it's journey. And thus, it's journey remains a mystery. That's not to say that it's destination must remain a mystery though...
Based on the universal laws evident in the real world around us, one can put himself in a position to make an educated guess on the outcome of things. Earlier I mentioned that it is a fault of man to rely on his eyes to show him truth. His mind, together with his spirit, is equally capable of presenting and confirming truth. One need not stack four rocks in a line to know that two plus two will end up as four. Our minds can allow us to measure things we cannot touch or see.
Being aware of a spiritual world which we cannot see or grasp makes it difficult to make assumptions about it. We are left with only the material world to study and extrapolate our ideas. Based on the evidence here on earth, all assumptions point to the presence of a world of energy, just like our world of reality. Where a body, here on earth returns to earth when it dies, so does the spiritual energy - it also goes home. Just as there is a piece of this material earth in every life on this planet - there is a piece of the energy world within every life. And just as the materials fall back to earth, the energy falls back to the energy world. As stated in the beginning of this paper, the earth never gains nor looses in total material matter. Likewise, I see it fair to only assume the same for the spirit world - that there lies a world of energy, and the energies of it never "disappear", they only change form. Such is the world we have to look forward to when we die. Additional speculation lacks evidence and strays from the universal laws that govern our worlds, but if "Mother Nature" is the personification of the rules here in the material world, then "God" is the personification of the rules in the energy world.
