I'm just starting my first tek, so I will leave it to the more enlightened in this forum to comment on this:

I'd just thought I'd share some interesting results of my quest for information on mushroom cultivation.

I guess if you're too embarrassed to have horse poop delivered to your nice upscale suburban mcmansion, you can build yourself a wooden pooping commode closet for the front yard and tell the neighbors it's folk art.

Actually, the link in my previous post contained a picture of a sawdust toilet that appeared to be a toilet seat nailed to the top of a 5 gallon bucket. That kicks ass!

I wonder if you could make viable mushroom manure if you stuck to a vegan diet for a week?

It's called night soil or black soil. It's common in third world countries to use human feces for fertilizer. It's also a great way to spread human parasites and infectios disease.

If you're that sick or that third world poor, go for it; but don't share your crop with me.
