Do you ever insult yourself?
    #6945935 -

Sometimes i sit back and really root out all my insecurities and the doubts i've had about myself and use them against me. i sit there and say things like "ur a fuckin failure" and "ur going the way ur father is going" (i sometimes feel like it) and all the stuff like that, like bag me out in the way that you would with someone if you were having a fight with another person.
i dunno, its really weird, its not like a momo or anything, its just in those little bouts of frustration u get u just tell it how it is to yourself, like you ust put into focus all the problems and wrong doings you're causing for yourself... kinda weird

anyone else do this?

I am young and my theories on the 'nature of stuff' are still in a very early stage of development. However, I had a thought on Karma recently: It seems plausible to me that Karma is stored in the subconscious mind, and that by doing something 'good' or 'beneficial' you create habits/tendency's that influence the choices you make in the future, which directly affects you, your mind-state, your quality of life etc. IE, your Karma. The same would of course be true of 'bad' or 'harmful' actions. Because of this, and to answer your question, I never insult myself or do any 'self-loathing' type actions. I hope I'm not offending you, that is not my intent. I'm not trying to say I'm better or anything either; i have some problems. I find I sometimes get very depressive thoughts for not much reason. Ive been single quite a while and I get pretty down about that sometimes too. What I'm saying, is that I try not to dwell on the negatives, because I think that doing so would possibly lead me into a vicious cycle that could be difficult to break. This isn't saying that I'm hiding from my emotions; Ive thought them through, but i see they are of no benefit to me and can only cause me harm.

karma is all the lies and bullshit you tell yourself coming straight back at you
i think its amazing how it operates, it probably even goes down to sub-atomic cause and effect ( iknow about the random movement blah blah) but for every action, there is a reaction, no? according to science? how is human behaviour or the 'invisible laws' of this world not applicable to science.

karmas a bitch, but it's there for a reason.

A little self criticism is good.  But sometimes you got to also tell yourself how great you are :ooo:

If you see a problem then do something different to fix it.  You can't just say that this is the problem, then fight yourself to fix the problem.  That doesn't work.  It's self defeating.  You got to focus on the good things and keep your mind on projects.  Be proactive.  Sitting and fighting yourself does nothing but give more energy to the problem.

The things you tell yourself over and over become truth.

Your Word is like magic, my friend. Everything you tell yourself becomes an agreement, and you attribute some belief to it. It becomes more and more true through your own faith, the more you believe in it.

The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz is an excellent book that I would recommend to anyone. It helps with inner peace, etc., and sounds like it would be perfect for you.

Yes, I have done this. But I always follow it up about things I like about myself. I don't do it to bring my self down or for punishment. I do it when shit gets crazy and I need to just get everything in the open. No walls, no nothing. I find it really refreshing. Gathers all the gunk in hiding and lays in on the table. You don't want to just bombard your self with shit you fucked up on. Well, you can.. but you should always have a solution in mind to take care of it.
