As far as air circulation is concerned, the more the better. Fanning the terrarium at least twice a day would be best but once a day is likely enough.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Has anybody thought of using those little hand held fans for circulation inside of a terrarium. Couldn't you just simply put a hole near the bottom of the terrarium for CO2 to drain out. Damn, that would be great air circulation. I gotta try that. Anybody know where you can get those this time of the year?

try a computer cooling fan. the only thing is that it may make your humidity too low. you'll have to use a timer and that may still fuck your humidity level up.

I would recommend using an aquarium air pump. You can filter the air with the inner hepa-like lining (99.97%) of a hepa vacuum replacement bag. Just wrap it up in the material.

I agree with Lares since you need to not only circulate air but remove air that is ladened with metabolic gases. I have used Ryches fishtank air pump set up for over a year now and it works great. It sounds like what Lares was talking about. Check it out at:
