you beat me to it, i loved river city ransom. i remember playing that game for hours, the unreasonably long save game codes, the sauna and the terrible dialogue.

Download 'gens' emulator from here (scroll down). Stick it in a new folder..

http://romhustler.net/emulators.php


Then go here:
http://romhustler.net/roms/genesis

and download roms (games),
(scroll down)

Download your roms into the same folder as your emulator.
Then go into that file, hold left click on the rom you just downloaded,, drag and drop it on the Emulator icon.

That'll start the game,, you might have to configure things abit if it doesn't sound right or it's abit slow/fast.
And you need a pad really,, you can use the keyboard,, but you'll still have to go into the top menu and configure it..


it's the same process for Master system, SNES, NES, N64, all the older systems.. Obviously d/l them all separately in different folders..

Edit: Downloaded files may need extracting/unzipping.. So you might need to download an unzipper (links will be on the rom sites).
