Instant Karma

so a friend asked me for ideas & opinions on things,
but there was too much shit going on in my room to think
clearly.
the t.v was on & the music was just too loud.

so i went outside to smoke a cigarette,
to stare at the stars & to *think*

and i came up with all kinds of ideas & memories,
& all else that comes to you when you're all alone,
sitting in pitch black darkness staring at the nights sky, pondering.

and just as i was about to step back inside to talk to her,
i threw my cigarette on the ground.

it was still lit, & the red ember glared at me,
so i thought to myself,
"maybe i should pick that up so no one has to pick up after me"

& so, i reached down, and picked up a log of dog shit
the cigarette just happened to land on.

So, I was reading your words and waiting for it while sipping my beer.
Right at the punch line, I laugh with a mouthful of beer. I gagged a little trying to keep it down. Then I started choking. Then it shot out my nose.

Haha.

Some hardcore karma happened earlier. Some little theif friend of some people I'm acquainted with stole a pedal off some old dudes bike; so he could fix his. Literally as soon as he got it off the old dude came round the corner. The old dude didn't notice (straight away anyways.. till he got on his bike) and this slippery motherfucker sort of slid off .. Just as this happened 2 pigs walked around the corner. So we told the old guy who & the pigs who did it (the pussy had scarpered). Once he knew the gig was up he came back.. put the pedal back on the old guys bike; apologized and got an on the spot 80GBP fine :grin:

that's both true and false.

Its the coinscidencia oppositorum.  Everything is true in the presence of its opposite.  did 40oz experience a nudge from the cosmic giggle, or did he accidentally get shit on his hand, and the ego/interpreter in his brain spun a mystical yarn around the incident to soften the blow :smile:

I dunno, I think they're both true.  They're embedded in a world made of opposites, of matter made of sound made of matter made of sound... :toomuchacid:
