substitute for PC?

is there some other way I can sterilize my stuff (without a pressure cooker)?? like boiling water in a pot with lid on it or something??

That is ok for cakes, not for whole grains.

Well for whole grain without a PC you can use "fractional sterilization" or tyndallization. http://www.shroomery.org/5248/What-is-fractional-sterilization-or-tyndallization

Time consuming but it does work.
