Back At Again

once up folks, i left the shroom world after my casings where tortured with gasoline and fire, ouch

I'm back at again


i have 7 3 pound spawn bags ready to do it's work

i only injected 3 of them so far.


it's been 2 weeks, sitting at room temperature inside a Tupperware container and , sadly i see absolute no growth


i followed the most sterile techniques possible without getting crazy with it


but I'm not jumping to conclusions I'm assuming since they are 3 pound bags maybe its going to take a a while to see any growth.

i don't know but wish me luck , I'm back at it and crazy people are out my life so , they should be OK

If I remember correctly (which I probably don't) it was his mother.

EDIT: :lol: had to come back to answer;

If you injected deep into the middle of the rye grain there could be colonization that you cannot see yet.

How much spore solution did you use per bag?

but, i added 3 ccs each bag


i checked this mornin and theres crazy growth in the bottom now. either i didn't check the bottom in the last two days or im crazy. but yea, happy days

I bet it was his parents. I'm guessing his dad.

My dad threw my first casing into a creek that ran through the yard at the house I lived at. I didn't even live with my parents, but they did own the house. They were trying to sell it, and I was the 'caretaker' although, at that age... I didn't take much care.

It wasn't even the shrooms that made him mad..he did it to punish me for throwing a graduation party that had over 400 people attend. And that was like 5 years ago, back when I was new to the shroomery.

Now when I see my dad he asks if I'll bring him some mushrooms.
