Carolina cuts Keyshawn

after drafting dwayne jarrett in this years 2007 NFL draft, the carolina panthers have released keyshawn johnson from the team.

funny how keyshawn was saying how excited he was to have jarrett as a teammate while broadcasting the draft on ESPN and then is replaced by the younger version of him from the same college.

where will he land?

Me-Shawn has been in the league about 10 years. His time is done. He will never be able to match up with fresh talent coming into the league now. He won't even be a decent 3rd receiver.

yeah, green bay would be a good home for him.. farve wants a possession reciever and thats what keyshawn is.. and hes one of the best possession recievers in the league.. still.

yeah, keyshawn is def still a good talent.. in todays reports it says that keyshawn has recieved offers and will be playing 2007, it just hasnt released the names of the teams interested.

but i dont see how GB couldnt be one of them, if they really are interested in helping farve win some more games.

Yeah, honestly, the Packers have to be in the running.

I'm from Chicago, but I live up here in Milwaukee, and the entire fan base is LIVID about the horrible packers draft, and they're all convinced that the GM is trying to run Favre out of town.

I couldn't care less. I was hoping they'd sign Randy Moss. That would have been fun to watch...

As a Bears fan, of course.
