Morchella semilibera..Mycelia growing
    #6855355 -

I got some of the snakeheads's mycelia going and it looks somewhat different yet smaller than the esculenta's, BTW my cultures from before are bust, the cold snap here and the lack of rain may have had something to do with it plus the lack of a casing to keep moisture in. Must start over. I'm going to try growing seedlings along with it this next time, after it has been frozen. Would be interesting to see if they pop up.
I'm sure the plants would sap the nutrients in the substrate right out.
Funny thing I noticed this "weird" and "messed up" spring.
The snakeheads came up in the same old cold wet weather on time yet the
sponges did not. The sponges waited until the trees resumed growth of their leaflings. The trees started growing leaves then aborted them, then when things warmed up for a "loooong" time, eventually the trees started growing the leaves again. And yet during the looooong warmth, no sponges until the trees resumed and more moisture returned.
But anyway, the M. semilibera is more aggressive than the esculenta.
Likes to grow refrigerated and wet.
