What is it???::: 6/17 Update!::::

Ok my buddy innoculated 3 jars with Ecuador.....about 3.3mL spore solution each jar.....this was on 6-11.....now yesterday he peeks in at em and there is an off yellow color around the points of innoculation and around the bottom of the jars.....
Here are some pics.





See what i mean? The jars dont smell too bad(they dont smell good )....Been awhile since my friend has done anything....but decided to play around with different substrate mixes.....trying out oatbran, wheatflour, and one with outbran and wheat mixed.....so some extra water may problem but i nor she has ever seen 'water damage' before so nothing to reference it too.....These pics are from 4 days after innoculation(today)........ Any ideas? Also note that the fluffy white mycilium seems to be growing fine....

I think you have contamination in those jars, i'd toss them. Water damage occurs to the mycelium but i can't see any mycelium just some yellow stuff on the substrate, i'd say restart and stick to PF tek.

Ok since the jars never really developed a really funky smell i decided to hang on to em for a bit.....Upon closer observation it seems that the yellow color IS oat bran(as far as i can tell) just with that odd color...would excess water cause grain to discolor?? Also note any yellow you still see is not new(it never really spread)
Anywho, the pics as of day 6:




So a professional opinion....if this wonderfull white growth finishes up strong, is there any danger of this possible contam still being in the mix? is safe to continue with it if nothing new shows up?

i would not try too fruit them. Toss the contents, wash and make room for new substrate.
