Where did you get your spores Mecalito? I also innoculated my jars on 5/30 and I have 9 jars at 100% already with one remaining at 98%.

I too got my syringes from Sporeworks. I have the EQ's and PR's in the fridge but the Mazatapecs are just really growing well for me...perhaps the temps/conditions inside your incubator are too low? *scratches head*
Wish I could offer more help...but being a newbie I'm quite limited in experience.

I got my spores from www.thehawkseye.com
let me tell you I had to wait like 6 months or more to get em cause they've been out of stock there i got a print on a trade that came from sporeworks isolate and I wasn't real impressed so now I'm gonna try Hawks again.
They colonize fast and pin fairly quickly. Great vibe my favorite of all cubies i've tried

Colonisation is pretty fast...personally I find they take longer to fruit than other strains I've grown. The last lot took about 7-10 days longer to pin than the amazonian that were cased on the same day, which seems fairly normal from what I've read about them.

Okay, since everyone is talking about the strain I'm using, I'll throw in my experience so far. Everyone on here told me to grow Mazatapec as my first time growing mushrooms because they are easy, fast, and have high yields. And, as Sporeworks describes, "are known for their spiritual connections". So I got my syringe from Sporeworks, and using the PF Tek, I started five jars (so if I fucked them up, which I did, I would still have a second chance). I don't think I put enough water in the cakes, and I had overhead light since I am in a basement for heat, and it basically dried them out. And I had contamination. So I waited awhile, and decided to start my last five. No light this time, so the temperatures are less than optimal. So they are growing slowly, but my remaining three (two were contaminated) are doing fine, with two of them probably 90% colonized and the other one lagging behind a bit.
I don't know if my story helps any, but I figured what the hell.

My Maz's are from Sporeworks and all 10 jars colonized for me in 19 days. Tomorrow morning is their birthday party into the Pod. No contams at all.

I'm using quart jars with rye and birdseed. From the syringe, the very first jar took 14 days to complete colonization. I cased that day. From then on, I just transfer grain from jar to jar, and the average colonization is 4-5 days, even though I let them sit for 6. (My jar lids have a 6-7 milimeter hole with polyfill stuffed in it. I shaking help a lot in speeding the second phase of colonisation... I shake once: 2-3 days after transfer.)
Mycelium appeared in 2 or 3 days (max) in my 6 casings. 3 days in the incubator and 8th in the terrarium... no sign of pins yet.
I will post results as soon as mushies come up.

I have some mazys from sporeworks and I am very impressed. All i've got to say is transfer those cakes into dung and straw. They will explode if you take the time to balance the nutritional content of the medium.
