I used perlite for humidity and the pans (with electric tape on the sides to seal out light) are about 12"wx6"lx5d" you can always use aluminum cooking pans.

Hey closetfreak I was wondering if you have anymore ppictures of your setup? Maybe you could email them to me. Doesen't perlite give too much humidity, how did you get around that? I would really apreciate your setup in detail, you know things like:

How often you exchanged the air, and what you did it with, did you set the tuperware pans right on the perlite, about how big was the terrarium. You know stuff like that. I was thinking what you might have done is get a terrarium only slightly bigger than the 2 tupperware pans so that the humidity wouldn't get that high, did you do this without knowing? hmmm maybe lucky ass

And most importantly do you think this method will work for the classic PF strain?

You can reduce the surface area of your perilite to reduce the RH, or just use the pitcher tek (bubbler).

PF Classic DON'T like to be cased. Cakes only.

What about all the other questions I asked? Sorry if I'm bein pushy but I think you did a great job. How deep was your perlite, and how much water did you put in it? What about the PF stopharia strain do you think that strain will work with this method?

Good first time casing. see anyone can grow mushrooms. If they just read the Teks everyone could have batches like yours and better.
