Hey Ryche-

Those Cambodian's look "mavelous." I'll get some when available. I suppose they are faster than Gulf Coast and maybe stronger? Are the Australian's just freaks are are they better because they are bigger? I figure they are more grams but lower active perr gram.

Actually I have a new strain of Gulf Coast from Alabama that is very very fast also. Not quite as fast as the Cambodia cub.. but they 100% coloinzed 1/2 pints in about 12 days and fruited very fast aslo. Pics will be up soon.
The Australian.. no those weren't freaks.. I've talked with several ppl that got 11" -13" fruits from this strain also. This is the first time I"ve grown it in the cold though.. and I can already see I'm not going to get the usual monsters.

Hey Ryche,
I was wondering if this strain of cubensis is suitable for growing in warm tropical climates ! I am from India, and have succesfully grown cubensis (hawaiain strain I think !) though frankly I havent a clue, recently been attempting to grow azurescens, which is half way through !

WHat i need to know is specifically which strains would you recommend for growing in my town in India, where temp during winter (that is now) routinely hover at between 70 and 80 degrees F. But winter will come to end by the end of February, an I am looking for a strain that will fruit in temp ranging from 75 to 90 degrees F, which does seem to be on the higher side ! but I am sure there is a strain that fruits at such temps. ?
Hope you can help me out !

Heya Maverick.
The "A" strain does quite well in higher then normal temps for a cubensis. Earlier this year if fruited in 95F temps the first time and 105F temps the second time. I recently received some pictures from a guy that grew it out on straw and he said it was exceptionally fast.. which I also noticed it to be a quick colonizer.. and the pics he sent me were of some pretty nice looking mushrooms with about 4" caps. I'll scan those pics and post it soon.
Also the Plantasia Cubensis does real well in heat. I should have that one ready to go in a month or so. All of the strains of cubensis should fruit fine at temps anywhere from 70f to 90F .. not to many of them will fruit in temps that much higher.

Hey Hawk, That second flush looks like a big forest, now I'm not sure weather to order those or the eq's. I'm new to this growing thing and want to know which one is more potent and which is easyer. Also how much is this going to cost?

I would actually recommend the cambodia cubensis over the ecuador now. Its speed and ease of growth is perfect for beginners.. or anybody for tht matter. They will be the same price as the rest of the cubensis. As for potency... I tried 1 dry gram and was pleasently elevated. I havnt tried a hard trip on them yet. I'll start making and testing syringe batches monday.. they should be ready to go by monday of next week.

Ryche, I was wondering exactly how the set-ups in those pictures work. Are those just casings on flat plastic in a humidity tent? There seemed to be no container for them.

The rest of the pictures are posted now for the Cambodia cubensis and the Gulf Coast/Alabama strain.

Some bad news.. the Aus cub will not be ready. A really fucked up story, sometime back I lost the strain. Then someone most of us know.. who attempted to be a spore supplier for a while, was selling the "wild aus cub" which was really the same strain, so I bought some prints and started over. I knew he had the strain because I sold it to him before. Well.. they fruited and its the pf strain.. not the aus strain. wonder how many other ppl were scammed by this. I could say who this person is but he would only deny it and it would lead to a big freakin bullshit flames.. so I'll just let it go. The good news is I found a petri dish of the Aus strain I had saved from last year.. so I'll get it going again.

As for the growing setup there.. that is with the outdoor tek in a greenhouse setup.
Here is another pic of it.. this will probably make more sense.

There is more info on growing like this on my page under the outdoor growing section. The greenhouse was newly rebuilt this year with improvments.. I'm posting pics real soon along with an incredable lab I visited in WA.

Hey Ryche,

Damn that sounds tempting. Have you tested these suckers under MMG or PF tek conditions? Only reason I ask, is because, I wanted to get one of my friends some spores for christmas. I wanted something fast and easy for him, but without the colonization time of PF.

Thanks!
Goat

No I havent tried them on rice cakes yet. But they grow extremely fast on finch seed cakes, they'll certainly grow fast on rice cakes. Whenever a strain does good with casing its almost certainly going to grow on cakes just fine. Perhaps I'll grow a few just to check it out.. but I hate wasting space on cakes when I can get such bigger better flushes with casing

Wow Ryche,

Beyond excellent strains.
I wanted to know if you might be able to spare some instructions for a small growing chamber, kind of like the one in the photo.
I have tons of humidifiers, tank heaters, and all sorts of equipment. Just no idea how to do it right.

Actually BrainonCyans, there is some info on my site already. And for creating this outdoor greenhouse, which I will sit down soon and write up the new and improved design I made this year. I've also been collecting lots of photos and info on growing setups from other ppl, and will be putting it all together sometime soon.

Hawk man, that is exactly what i wanted to hear!
i may be ordering some from you soon
I have another question, i dont know if youll see this.. but if you do, i would appreciate an answer:
I have an extreme diffuculty in reading your various methods, as they are written in paragraph rather than step format. Would you object to me rewriteing a few (50/50 especially) and sending those to you to replace the current ones?..
have fun!

Heya DinoMyc,
Actually somebody else suggested this to me as well, and the 50/50+ has been rewritten, not put in html yet. In fact I'll go finish that right now.
