Two of those syringes were sent out to me, so I will definately be giving a detailed report on its progress. Definately sounds like a nice strain. I'll have to say, Ryche, you carry more variety than any spore supplier I've seen and provide the best customer service out of anyone out there, Thanx I have a Georgia Cubensis strain that will be ready to fruit after the agar work is finished, the mycelium is still very cottony, need a few more transfers. Anyway if you want another to add to your collection I'll be glad to donate a few prints. I haven't fruited it indoors yet so I don't have any pics. as of now, but soon. The wild ones I have sampled are damn potent too. All I got to try was 2 grams because I had to split my findings. For two g's they rocked -Later- The Lizard,

I received my spores 2 days ago and I'm pumped. I can't believe how quick they got here! Ryche is the man! Anyway' I'm first time grower and chose this strain for it's supposed simplicity. I know that Ryche suggests the birdseed substrate but due to cash restraints at the present I can't afford a pressure cooker. I plan om using the PF brown rice substrate. Does anyone forsee any difficulties? Thanks...------------------

Hey Ryche, I love your service, it's great. Only one thing, when you put the labels on the syringes you can't see the CC markers! It makes it a bitch to measure out the correct amount of spore solution with a label covering up 3.5 ccs of graduation. PLus if you try to remove the label it rips the lettering off of the syringe and then you have no numbers to work with. Smaller labels on the very top part of the syringe (the clear part with no writing) would probably be best.Keep up the great service!

Ryche, you'd be well advised to stock up on those Cambodian prints and syringes because with feedback like that coming from Lizard and others, you're going to be selling them like mad! Great work and thanks- can't wait to fruit these Eqs (thanks Lizard!) and send for my Cambodians! GT

Hello all, Just thought I'd let ya know how things are goin'with the Cambodian strain. Like my E-mail Ryche posted said, Germination took 4 days, then things took off quickly. On the eight day after germination I had 3 jars of 12 fully colonized. The other 9 jars are sitting at 90-95% colonization currently, and will be 100% in the morning more than likely. Seriously thats how damn fast this strain is. I haven't grow many different strains of cubes, but so far this is the fastest I've seen. I plan on trying the new dung tek Ryche has put together in another thread on this board. Hopefully all goes well and I'll have lots of pics to share with ya'll in a few weeks. I'll be casing 3 cakes tommarow, so it won't be long -Later-The Lizard, [This message has been edited by Lizard King (edited January 15, 2000).]

Just thought I'd say that, me as a beginner is growing this strain, and I inogulated with several problems on new years eve, then I did another batch, the same night (without the herbs this time and right now none of them are fully colonized, I hope they do soon, I have them incubating right now.... 2 are pretty close, I'll attempt a 3 cake casing, and birth the rest probly.

This response is for Maverick,I hate to disillusion you but there is no such thing as an Hawaiian strain of Psilocybe cubensis. This species dos not occur naturally in the Hawaiian archipelego. However, Copelandia species do. I made a ten year study of the fungi of Hawaii with Professors Mark Merlin and Mycologist George wong of the Univ. of Hawaii at Manoa and with Biologist/mycologist Don Hemis from the Univ. of Hawaii at Hilo. Thie species Psilocybe cubesis does not exist here and is only grown candestinely indoors in bed boxes and/or jars and is not in any cow paddie in a field. Yo can read my book or journal publications on this matter. Mj

Thanks for clearing that up about the hawaiin cubenis. Most of us knew this, but I'm sure some youngsters are falling for the "hawaiian "thing.

Ok let me add again that Yes I know that just because they are ordered from hawaii doesnt mean they are hawaiian species... also I would think that if Mj shroomer did research that he SHOULD know what he is talking about ... but nonetheless there are strains out there that are being sold as hawaiian even from respectable companies like P. fanaticus.... but I think his source of that (golden teacher) is from the company in hawaii Pacific Exotic Spora..... the problem here is there are companies that sell this hawaiiain strain so what are the consumers supposed to think??? For all I know all these strains out there all originated from a single print or two and have been sold under different names... I wish there was honesty on this issue.. I hate to think I grow a strian of mushroom thinking its from an area and then later find out im a chump.... Oh well I guess I dont know unless I pick it myself.. Anyway no offense to anyone concerning this....PEACE
