WOW! Glad to see that clips his e-mails and posts them, because I haven't been sharing my 'parade' with this cambodian strain with all of you. Yes, I had full colonization in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS! I was amazed when I pulled the jars from my HEPA box for a check up, only to find that they were ready for casing! Well, as you read in my e-mail to Ryche, my first flush was really inconsistant because they just started popping through the casing layer, even after I covered them with another light sprinkle. But my second flush was TERRIFIC! I wish I had a digital camera like most of you have so that I could post an image! I've got a second batch just innoculated, and I think that I will try a thicker casing layer (1 1/2 inches) this time for a more even flush?------------------

In response to your question, Prellgott, I used the Hawk Magic Finch Seed Substrate (I figure, heck, it's his spores, who else would know how to grow them better?). I'm not sure about anyone else, but as soon as I started using Flax Seed Meal in my substrates, either finch seed or brown rice flour, my colonization speed has increased. Also, Ryche Hawk always recommended mineral water, but I never used it until this first batch of Cambodians. . .now I'm a believer!------------------

I inoculated my jars 7 days ago with the Cambodia 2 syringe and so far nothing. At the same time I used up the rest of a PF and Treasure Coast syringe and both are growing mycelium nicely. Anyone who has any experience with the Cambodia, I could use some advice. Thanks.

I inoculated with Ryche's Cambodia number 2 batch, and the Gulf Coast Alabama, batch number 1, and the mexi cubs, number 11 I think.All of them are germinating fine. It is day 7 now and the cambodians have almost fully colonized 1/2 pint jars, with very strong growth. The gca and mexi cub aren't to far behind them. These strains are pretty fast too. Thanks again for bringing us some great new strains Ryche Hawk. And thanks to this mj guy for bringing them back from Cambodia and giving them to Ryche. It feels like Christmas around here again
