No!!!!! not enough heat,plus the instructions for my large pressure cooker says that even small pressure cookers are not even good enuf for what we do.

Sorry, misread your question. My friend just uses a big ole pot with a lid. Her house is really clean though. (always) Three batches this way and not a contamination problem yet. (knock wood)
