well, on my cakes, the pins are tiny white dots embedded in the mycelium, and then they sprout up and look like little tiny mushrooms. I don't know what they look like coming out of the casing, but I assume that you will just see the little tiny mushroom-looking things. Bleeding on your casing? I've never heard of that one....

Sorry i don't got any pics or anything, but i think i'm gonna bleed on my shroomies too. i mean they give so much to us, and i just want to show them how much i love 'em.

You will know when you see them

and that blood thing is a good idea. I remember seeing a post or an agar tek or something about using blood or blood meal
but be careful your blood may have more contams than the air in your terrarium but I could be wrong. i have to say that is devotion!!!
