from what I understand H2O2 will not hurt mycel. or any other mold for that matter. It just kills spores so using it to "decontamite" that spot would be useless. But as I said this is just what I have read here. If you do try this and it wourks would you please post it and let me know.

Uhh... *sheepish grin*
Since this is my first time growing shrooms, I don't know what everything should look like, and all. I just decided to pick all my 1 inch shrooms and give up on that cake. I realized that the spot I thought was contamination was actually just blueing as the cake dried out. hehehe.
Oh well, still got 4 jars left fruiting normally.... :biggrin:
