H2O2 --- Contam?

AFOAF has a big problem. He's paranoid about contam in his rye grain jars. There are web-like greyish filaments in most / all of his jars. He put a couple into fruit with case, and the case looked contam'ed. We looked at all of his cultures, and some that looked shady a couple days ago are nice and white now. We shook them this morning and injected some peroxide. I was under the assumption that any bubbles seen means comtam. Every single culture bubbled like crazy!! Does healthy mycelium bubble after the network has been shaken ? I injected peroxide on top before shaking ... no bubbles. I shook the jars and they bubbled like mad. Anyone know what's going on ?? Cobweb is suspected. Does cobweb bubble with peroxide ?? thanks!!

as far as i know, nearly all mycelium bubbles when it comes in contact with h2o2....
