Because the Wbs has not done well for me..

Why don't you do WBS to newspaper? Its been working great for me.

For some reasone all my wild bird seed attempts have failed me...i dont under stand because the mycellium will start growing(Preety sure its mycelium) then boom ill have mold every where in the jars!! SO idk...i mean i dont pressure cook these things i have them at a low boil for 4 hours and there good to go

I dont....
And the reason why is because I left jars out on shelves un-inoculated for up to two weeks with no signs of contamination problems. I didnt just put this post on here with out trying to solve the problem first.

Yes, you can grow both on brf cakes. Oysters require lots of gas exchange, so don't do well in terrariums unless you drill a lot of holes.

I've seen numerous Pleurotus grows on PF cakes. But if you wanted to bulk up a bit, you can use a colonized PF cake for the spawning of pasteurized straw, hardwood saw dust or paper products with.
