Heh... I had problems with straw then with coffee grounds, so this time, I`m attempting to fruit the oyster from the jars. I have inoculated rye grain and the mycelium grows on the jars sides. I mist everyday and I believe it is humid enough (I don`t have a hygrometer *yet*). It also has light. But still, no primordia... I hope this is not another failure Side view 1: Side view 2: Top view :
The bag is in my room (normal light, maybe too close to the window) at 16-18 degrees celsius...
By the way, there is only 3/4 of grain of the total jar capacity. I would appreciate any advices/hints/bitching/etc
Well, I have cold shocked it for 20 hours. It is still growing and it smells good. But still no formation of primordia... I guess I should wait hehe Do you think it could fruit from such a small quantity of grains?
Ohh by the way, the mycelium looks so nice, I have never seen something like that before!
