Well as far as the tests show there was no alcohol in either of their systems and I can't really say otherwise you know? But yes they had just left a party.. One is going to be fine and is being discharged from the hospital tomorrow, but the other has severe swelling of the brain and has no brain activity at all right now. They are having a meeting tomorrow (docs and his parents) and will be deciding whether to keep him on or take him off life support. Right now he's shaping up to be a fucking vegetable even if he does pull through and the chances of him pulling through at all are unlikely.

You know, you hear about this shit all the time and think "man my friends are smarter than that..". Then it happens and the shit hits home hard. Nobody is invincible from these things.

You're damn straight about that, friend. I'm really sorry to hear of your loss. I usually get speechless in times like these, but I guess I've been through enough of them to be numb about it. No one ever thinks killing someone will happen. I certainly think that. Thankfully, I didn't. But I did get tons of fines, some classes, probation and had to take a class. Also, I got older and somewhat wiser so now I don't drink n drive anymore.

Besides fools, its easier at home...u can drink all you want, crawl the 10 feet it takes to get to your bed/toilet/trash... and pass out! Just make sure the shady fuckers leave before you get trashed...things go missing.
