Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration
    #6743304 -

I hope this is the right forum. I'm looking at some water filtration. I've decided that RO(reverse osmosis) is the route I want to go, however, looking at places locally and online, its hard to tell which models are good. I've called a few local places and holy crap, they wanted to charge like $500+. I've been browsing around online, but don't know which brands are good, and don't want to get raped on propriety filters.
I used to work at a brewery, and we had a cool RO system. I've had to change the filters many times. It was very tasty water, but it was disturbing that after a few months, pearly white 5 micron sediment filters become brown with all the trapped sediment. Anyways, its good of washing stuff too. I used to get water all the time and whever I wash my car, I'd use the RO water in the end for a spot free rinse.

We bought a small unit that goes under the kitchen sink.

On the counter of the sink you then have a little separate faucet for your RO water.

It only filters and holds a couple gallons at a time(refills as you use it) but we never seem to go dry........

Taste great though, and big difference over tap water.....plus cheaper in the long run over those big jugs.........

Think we replace the filter unit maybe 2 or 3 times a year.....they last pretty long.
