I know this is a brought up subject a lot...but I have a quick question. 4 jars of Thai KS just refuse to fruit...They have been in the fruiting chamber for 2 weeks now...cold shocked a week ago...and had a thing of blue ice right near the cakes in the terrarium. Anyone have any ideas, or should I just crumble and case?

95+ humidity and ample fresh air exchanges and they will fruit eventually. If they dont in another week, dunk them and put them back in the terrarium.

Make sure your conditions are ideal (temperature...humidity etc), the cakes have moisture avaiable (have they been dunked?) and that they haven't been killed by excessive-heat. If all that checks...well...give them plenty of light and just wait. There shouldn't be anything stopping your cakes from pinning except unfavorable conditions.

I have perlite in the bottom, with fanning and spraying 2-3 times a day. Anyone know where I can get a cheap gauge from? I'd like to know what the RH is... I figure if they don't fruit in a week, I'll break em up and case em.

reduce fanning to once a day until pinning begins, you want/need a slight build-up of co2 to trigger pinning on cakes.
