any idea why media player in browser not working?

they used to. now i can barely watch any streaming clips. except like youtube and google video stuff. i used to be able to see the cnn videos. not any more. it loads up the player and then says done and nothing happens. ive tried updates and all kinds of stuff. anyone know what i can do to fix?

have you validated WMP11?

That is what happened with me .. also what browser are you using?

I'm using firefox and WMP11 works fine with it.

if you use firefox, you could try and download VLC media player, as it is better than window media player anyways, and during the install, it will ask if you want to install the firefox plugin, and of course do it, and it should fix your problems...let me know

Well have you used WMP11 on its own? like to play music or something. If you have and it worked, you've validated it and I don't know whats up.

If you haven't run it, play a music file with it now and validate it and I imagine it will work in your browser
