If you want, but I've been using the latest RC and it works fine. You can always install the final release over the RC, I think.

I sure hope it fixes all the times FireFox crashes when I try replying to or modifying Shroomery threads!

I love firefox, but it still has a few bugs that need worked out. For instance: whenever I open up a new window from an external program like AIM, or even from another site sometimes it won't load the site, and I can't even type in a URL. Other then that I love it. Thunderbird and the MouseGestures extension are essential.

There is a horrible bug in firefox 0.8 and thunderbird 0.6 - sometimes when you are typing and get to the end of a line it doesn't wrap properly and you can't type any more and have to press return.

Do you have a link to that particular post at all? I'd be interested to read about what exactly those changes do.
Also, can anyone confirm whether extensions from 0.8 will work in this version?
-------------------- The above is an extract from my fictional novel, "The random postings of Edame".
In the beginning was the word. And man could not handle the word, and the hearing of the word, and he asked God to take away his ears so that he might live in peace without having to hear words which might upset his equinamity or corrupt the unblemished purity of his conscience.
And God, hearing this desperate plea from His creation, wrinkled His mighty brow for a moment and then leaned down toward man, beckoning that he should come close so as to hear all that was about to be revealed to him.
"Fuck you," He whispered, and frowned upon the pathetic supplicant before retreating to His heavens.

Well, they do and they don't on the RC. I had to re-install them all from the Mozilla extensions page. However all the extensions availiable for 0.8 will also be availiable for 0.9, as far as I know. As to the final release, I don't know if they will be installed automatically from the old 0.8 extension files.

Most will work, some will break - I'm sure they're being updated... check out http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions there should be update dates listed...personally, I've been using firefox since it was called phoenix & have only had one or two extensions that broke. mostly it's a problem with themes...for whatever reason.

How do I go about changing these again? I'm going to try out 0.9, and I'll have to reapply these settings.
