oyster problems
    #6629244 -

so i fruited my first batch of oysters on toilet paper but i had to leave town for 10 days so i left my girlfriend in charge of light and misting while i was gone. i got back today and there were about 6 small clusters and maybe 4 mature mushrooms, they were all dried out and the substrate was too(still has some moisture but very little), i checked the temp and it was at 81! so im wondering if it is possible to try and save? the mushroom cultivator says thermal death occurs when held at 104 for 48 hours. if i spray the hell out of it several times tonite to rehidrate the t.p. and put it back at about 65 will it start to fruit again? should i try hydration and then incubate it for a while, then coldshock it? or should i just throw it out?

Give it a couple of hours soaking in water to re-hydrate, then return to fruiting conditions. Oysters are fairly tolerant of temperature swings.
