:wtf: This is crazy. The UK Govt are about to propose restrictions on photography in public places which could make street photography and documentary photography against the law.

I dont understand. Where the hell does this come from?

I was there 3 years ago.. before they went totally nuts.. then again 2years ago.. damned how fast they where.. could probably get movies of the entire 2nd stay there from several angles if I had the right connections in the UK gov...

I like to think of it as Big Brother/Nannystate tax hell(UK) vs Big Business/police state hell(US).Im sure the powers that be in the US would prefer to be like the UK as well but they have that pesky bill of rights to overcome which they are doing great at right now.

thats the thing. Our verbal constitution is an asshole.

They do like to monitor us alot, but I feel I have more freedom than a lot of places.

I have never been to the US though...
