Anyone care to recommend one under 80 dollars? I've been looking around, and really can't decide which one I want.

Maybe this one? Its in the price range and it has good ratings. Also comes with Nero. I'm not sure if its a trial version or the full version. Does nero burn all types of files(avi, mpeg, wmv)? I know it will do DVD formats but I really wanna get these live concerts/pRon off my hd to free up some space.

as long as you have usb 2.0 and not 1.1... 1.1 sucks balls for burning dvds on an external... used to take me a few hours to burn a single dvd on my old laptop

Yeah, I do. Thanks Jim. I think I'm gonna go with the LG USB 2.0 16X DVD±RW burner.
