 Are my shrooms ok to eat?? Green Mold

I just had a very large flush on my cakes. They were B+ and maby on their 5th flush. A couple days after i picked them i noticed green mold on those cakes. I threw them out right away but I was wondering if the shrooms I picked are still ok to eat. Im not sure if the contams where there when I picked it but tell me what is the worst that can happen with green contams. The shrooms smell fine and they look normal no black stuff or anythign on them.

And it's not the lack of a search that gets me as much as the fact that someone would even think of doing something as dumb as that.

If you don't want to help, and i mean HELP and not sugest doing a search or calling dumbass to any newbie posting a not so inteligent question, please don't waste this server space like i'm doing right now and like you've been doing the last days. You can also try sedatives.
As for the question, if the mold didn't spread too much and you picked the shrooms on a early stage there will be no problem eating them, bacterial contaminated cakes are the ones you should avoid in any case.

Two ideas for you:
Either don't read my posts,
Or get used to them.
As I have said before, I have no problem with questions from newbies.
I have a problem with dumbasses who are too lazy to look for answers to help themselves.
If more people pointed out the search feature and the FAQ, there would be less stupid and less often repeated posts to wade through here.

Luvdemshrooms you remind me of a grumpy old man yelling at anyone that walks infront of his house. You just need to chill- sure you love them shrooms, but I think you need to smoke more nuggets or something so you can luvdemfellowshroomers. Take a chill pill? Do something man cuz damn you give us a bad name. We're all a community here, if the same question gets asked twice or a hundred times it doesn't really matter, these people are just trying to get things right so they can enjoy a crop just like you. Newbie doesn't necissarily mean new to growing also, it is very likely that a newbie is ALSO new to the whole message board idea- I know I was and I'm still learning.
If you think that you are so much better than everyone here, I suggest moving to the Advanced Mushroom Growing Forum- where you can yell your heart out at all the experienced mushroom growers. Otherwise, keep your fingers off the keyboard unless you have something useful to type.

I'm not, which is why I don't post there. I'm not on their level. However, I am able to get off my ass and try to find some answers on my own. I actually learn something that way instead of appearing as a fat assed lazy fuck who's too stupid to seek answers and wants them handed to me on a platter.

Here's how mrfreedom put it in the suggestion forum.

I downloaded the relevant FREE mushroom growing guides. These guides answered my most minute questions. I found these guides in the forums. I didn't have to ask for them they were already posted. I didn't have to ask what, vermiculite was(even though I had never heard of it) that information is in several of the guides that I read.(as well as where to find it)
Even in the begining of my search for knowledge, I took the time to search the basic words that I came across. Such as, perlite, pressure cooker, jars, strains, PFtek, humidity, temperature, terarium and so on. I fail to see how it is beneficial to any newbie to do the work for them. At the very least, one would wish to HELP the newbie by teaching them to find the answer's themselves. What if they need the information rightaway? Would it be better for them to sit by their computer waiting for the answer or would it be better it THEY knew how to search out the most basic answer's themselves. I think the answer is obvious.
I am not down on newbies, as such, I am down on the simplistic nature of the questions that are asked. Those type of questions denote a complete lack of respect to those that have done the research and posted their findings. This person, asking the most basic questions, shows disrespect to the board and it's grow members every time that they refuse to even bother using the search engine. "

And as far as the original question asked by the poster in this thread, it is by far the stupidest question asked on this site. Only the most ignorant ass would stick something with contamination into his or her mouth but for some reason it seems that heads dissappear into spincters with amazing speed when shrooms are concerned.
