war against green mold

hi everybody! i've been checking my jars these days and found some of them contaminated with the dreaded green mold... of course i did throw them all away but one... (dont ask me why). today i checked this jar and i noticed that the green stuff is fading out... i think my mycelium is eating it. if it grows to the end, will my shrooms be good for human/wookie comsumption?

yeah, alot of growers dont give there mushrooms enough credit. if they have a good grasp on a cake they can kill off contamiates. if the contamination happens when they are almost fully colinized then just sit back and watch them. chances are your mushrooms will over take it and kill the molds.

while it may be true that the mycellia will eventually over-run the contam, any toxims produced would remain, and could concievably enter the shroom. you could get very sick from eating such.
best not to be so desperate,
only eat the best and toss out anything doubtful.
