urls?

Unless I'm missing something, whenever I try to enter a url, it begins it with www.shroomery.org even if I erase the text box completely

ok, that's weird, now it's working



no joke, everytime I tried to enter a link using the button on the quick reply menu, it saved it as "http://www.shroomery.org/" then the link after the back-slash

No I believe you, and I think I figured out the problem. For instance, if you type in www.test.com or http://www.test.com it will automatically be converted to a link, and [url]http://www.test.com[/url] will also work. But if you do [url]www.test.com[/url] (without the preceding http) it will be converted to http://www.shroomery.org/www.test.com. This isn't really a bug, it's a feature which allows relative URLs. The solution is, when using a [url] tag, to include the protocol eg http://, https:// or ftp://.
