I would say smoke some pot...hell lots of it, but that sucks when your throat hurts... I would rather be sick to my stomach and smoke weed then have a sore throat and wallow in pain , and be barely able to eat....

HERBS! Lots of peppermint tea, and ginger was already mentioned... there are plenty of herbs that can help you ... but I have to "go make bears" so I'm logging off
