Well some of them are friggin' huge, other are animated and distracting, and all of them would be annoying after about 3 seconds. But feel free to use the codes and people can convert them to images in their minds. :wink:

That would get annoying fast. You can already assign a Post Icon, no need for more.

Imagine what Rahie would do with it if it were implemented...

I voted yes, but after reading this, I see that I assumed it would only be limited ones, like the standard ones...

I agree now, no emoticons in the topic.

BUT, why can we not use bold nor underlined? Or at least italic?

Make it so that only words can be "tagged", not the whole topic...

..and maybe just one word tagge per topic?

I can't see the harm in this..

Good idea. Bold, underline, and italics wouldn't fuck with the layout and would not stick out too much. :thumbup:

Well some stylesheets use bold text to indicate unfollowed links (including the default). Underlines are also used on hover. So I do think it would stick out, or at least be confusing from a usability standpoint. Please let's not turn the BB into MySpace Lite. :grin:
