shroomery members shouldnt be able to change there titles.people need to know who is a newbie giving shitty advice and who is an experienced grower.

if you feel as though you need to see how long someone has been here...ask. Or how about this look to see how many posts he/she has. you have 395 btw.

I've been growing for over 20 yrs. and I've gotten some good ideas, tips and advice from some of those newbies, no matter what title they have. As I don't post very often I was titled as a stranger when I changed my title... but I was hardly a newbie.

I think titles are irrelevant. You can have a newbie that knows more than someone who has posted thousands of times... Amount of posts is no indication of someones knowladge, it just shows how often this person posts, nothing more...

If you only judge people's advice on how many posts they have then you are really doing a disservice to yourself....

Titles are not important, the advice or knowladge a member brings is soo much more important than how many posts they have.

Not everyone starts this hobby at the shroomery, in fact many growers probably will never visit or join the shroomery. An expert could join as a stranger and know more than everyone at the shroomery. Title is irrelevant. Besides some people just post numerous times with "yup" and become "Enthusiasts" even though they don't know shit about growing.

Tired of pimping yourself on the corner to afford spores? Well throw out that red dress and go to the FSR, for spores even you can afford.

im one of the only ones left who hasn't changed the title

but that's mostly bcuz i'm that lazy

but it is a person's choice whether he wants to be Shroom-Girlie's Whore or just plain addict, etc., freedom of speech :smile:
