Mother came out of surgery yesterday

My mother came out of surgery yesterday for a perforated intestine. She was sick for days before finally going to the hospital she was puking a lot. Aparrantly it's a pretty risky surgery, they did it in two parts.
She's finally awake and off the ventilator. I was really scared for her and am really glad she's going to be okay. It's really scary when someone you know has surgery. I feel so relieved.

I hear you man. My mom went to the hospital one time and it impacted me a lot. She is the most important person in my life and that shit scared me.
I am glad your mom is alright, you should get her a present or something :smile:

Definitely glad to hear it all went well. I agree with Rahie, get her a nice little gift. And if anything like that ever happens again (knock on wood I hope it doesn't) I can't ask you enough to make sure you go visit her with every chance you get. I didn't and I regret it to this day.
