Yes I've read such articles and I believe it to be true also.

I'm a raging alcoholic and lsd didn't help me back in the day, probably made me more nutty and eccentric if anything(not putting a bad conotation on taht).  I haven't used it since 2003 though and I'm even more of a "ragin alcoholic", so who knows, it might do wonders for me if I can ever find it again.....or it could send me off the deep end because I don't know if my head is screwed on tight :wink:


I do think it could do wonders for him though possibly, you are right.

The last time I tripped I drank while tripping because it was so overwhelming I needed to alleviate some of the anxiety. :shrug:

I agree.  Although I haven't used lsd for a long time because of lack of a availability, I have dosed shrooms every now and then.  I'm pretty sensitive to it and I always need to drink at least 3-4 beers before I ingest.  Totally helps cut down the anxiety.

Then there's times when I'm camping and I am WASTED drunk and drop some shrooms.  Wow, it brings being "out of it" to a whole new level.

A career in the military to clear your head and set yourself straight? That was a careless action, my friend, in my honest opinion. There are more effective ways to heal yourself, set a path, and walk it without all of the implications of being in the army. :what:

if you're unhappy working in a corporate setting, i'd think the military would be 1000X worse. i'm definitely very biased on the issue, but think signing up is literally throwing your life away. rather start using a lot of H and go out that way, if you don't care about your life or future. then at least you'd die with a smile on your face and a good nod going on.

Satan does not exist IMHO, and there is much more to be concered with during life, then there ever will be after you die. Cause you're dead. I second what Mattz said about the benzos. I always get some weird chemical-induced depression after a benzo binge. Opiates do the same thing to me, but not as severely as the benzos. You've been taking a ton of both kinds of pills, so I'd bet your brain chemistry is just a bit off.

Lay off the pills for awhile before making any serious decision about the Army (or God forbid, killing yourself). I always give myself a couple of days post-binge before jumping into an impulsive, depression-induced decision.

You sounded pretty sure of going into the Army before taking all the pills, so I'd say stick with it. If you're not going to Iraq, you'll get better training and discipline than if you just got some shitty job for a few years. (I was an accountant for 15+ years - trust me, an Army payroll job will be much better than a job in some small business).
