I seriously know what you mean about the jobs, I've had MANY. It's hard to get a job when they look at my resume and I've never had a job longer than 2 years(that's a record for me).

Ok, if the pinecone won't sell you, let me think of something real good....

edit: on the talk of military. I'm against it personally, but I really mean this...if you truly feel like you don't care anymore, what's it gonna hurt to give it a try if that's all you feel you might have(which isn't true by any means though). I was signed up for the military, signed most of my papers and everything. It's fucked up how life turns out hey? But that's the beauty of it!

Oh come on man...if me and me people can still find work in an area where the entire northern part of the state has a direct sign from mexico for illegal workers to come work ....and take our jobs..


You gotta be able to find something.


At any rate...you still got a roof over your head...you still got that chick....you still got the guarantee of military...Lot better than some of my old friends that have vanished for 5-10 years train squatting and just show up broken and beaten but always with the will to survive and not quit.

I don't know if I'd say that, I know plenty of people who have gone through the military and are better for it. They aren't radically different, and they are generally happier with their life afterwards. And if I remember correctly, Banez isn't going into the infantry or something, you're getting more of a desk job right?

Anywho, I'm not going to try talking you out of going into the military because you've already expressed countless times you're sick of people doing that. What I think is you really do want to go (you've expressed this very thoroughly while in a sober state of mind) but the past few days you've been over indulging a bit. It seems like you're just having some chemical induced depression, believe it or not benzo's have very adverse effects (including suicidal ideology) on some people. Personally I'd lay off the benzo's and boose for a week and see how you're feeling.

There is substantial clinical data* showing that massive doses (more than 2 hits, like in the 1000s of mcgs) of lsd can help people overcome alcoholism; I'm pretty sure it got me through a few rough spots, too. I'm not saying 'dose' lightly, I really think Banez has his head screwed on straight, will ride it out and see his addiction for what it is, and overcome it.

Especially with everything thats happened in Iraq, why would anyone be encouraged toi join the militray right now :nonono:  Its not like this is WW2 and we have hitler to deal with.

And I a SO SICK and TIRED, of the idea that the strongest countries in the world have to take away many of our most basic, and cherished freedoms, to "protect" us.

From what?!?!!? Weak groups, from little countires in the middle east? Or elswhere? Thats a fucking sick joke.... we cant protect ourselves without giving up our freedoms :rolleyes: Terrorism is never going away, all you can do is try and prevent it. And there is NO exuse, or moral justification for taking away our most cheerished liberties.
