Playing instruments over playing vinyl any day

I agree though, but still a cool concept.  I think it's going to catch on.

"The most noticeable difference is that through using the Wiimote a DJ can attain pure wireless control over the music. Instead of being chained to the turntable or computer, now the DJ can be free to roam around while mixing. Another way to look at it is that a WiiJ can actually dance to the music they are creating, effectively elevating "air guitar" antics to an actual creative level.

For those still unclear on the concept, Wiijing is accomplished by mapping out the buttons on a Wiimote controller to the controls on PC-based DJ software.
For example, pressing the "A" button on the Wiimote would trigger the "Play" function on the computer keypad. Similarly, it is possible to map out hand movements or motion to activate controls (i.e. one could flickstart a song, for example).

The coolest thing about this new found application of the Wiimote is that it is fully customizable. What this means is that no two WiiJ's will mix the same way. A self-styled WiiJ can chose to use two Wiimotes or a single Wiimote. They can choose to mix via motion sensing, vibration or multi-button functions. In short, it can be tailored to any WiiJ style that best fits the wannabe DJ."
