I understand that - but im pretty sure we're living very seperate lives. I sometimes feel the need for a lock, infact i bought one today.. and we're all getting locks. However, matter of fact is - we all feel we shouldnt need one - its mostly the crazy and his cohorts that are making us feel the need to lock up...

this house has run fine with dozens of random strange house guests, and numerous roommates, Huge parties (hundreds of people), concerts, etc... and not so much as turntables, diskman, totem poles, studios, laptops, aviators, or change have got stolen...

The worst that happens is if we have a freeloader who might munch your food. One time a bike went missing, but we tracked it down within a day.

I hear what your saying.. but we dont live paranoid, like you seem to be. FINE, reality is reality, but we've been pretty good as an independant unlocked house for 7+ years now..
