The only way to beat a crazy is to act like one. Refer to this particular roommate only as "it" and whenever he's around, not so subtly tell everyone that "it" is a spy from (insert random country here) trying to find out information on your pineapples.

The more ridiculous you are, the more likely the crazy one is to leave you alone.

Feeling safer now, knowing im in the right. its been expressed, i may be a drug addicted hippie and maybe even a "waste of talent" but i make this house a better place, and all my roommates value and respect me, besides the crazy one.

Good Luck man. I once lived with a guy who was a big stoner but on drug testing, so he then became a huge drunk. It was also really uncool.

Anyway I came home one night to smoke with a couple of friends (one of them being my buds little brother, who was walking right behind me in the door). Anyway, this guy had a walrus of a chick on "MY" couch spread eagle with her skirt around her stomach. I mean (I'm trying to not exaggerate) this girl must have been 300-400 pounds and was absolutely disgusting.

My buds little brother was all happy about coming over to smoke and right behind me so I threw my hand over his eyes and got him out of there. I guess I figured I was Already tainted and he was not.

I flipped out and he was all hammered and then later that night pissed the couch, so I had to leave. I ditched the lease and told them to sue me if they wanted (They didn't, I fucking broke :wink:

)

Anyway, Either get that guy out of there or get out of there yourself, because if you cant relax when going to your designated place of rest then you'll go crazy yourself. Good luck

Thanks for the support guys. I just walked home with my girlfriend, and he was watching out his window at me. *creepy*

Anyways, the landlord will be here in a day or two, and some resolution will be reached until he leaves sometime next month.

Ill update with any furthur details as it happens, right now i feel alot safer than i did yesterday, i wonder if he's spitting in my food or anything like that.

Update: - I received an appology from the crazy guy tonite. He's preparing to move out, and acting.. strangely but in a handle-able way.

Whenever he's around im on edge consumed by the thought of "oh my god is he ever insane" - he took my friends and i aside today to show us all the clothes that fell threw his roof non stop for hours last nite.. I cant comment on wether clothes fell threw his roof, but i do know that everything he showed us was from the backyard (under the carports - basically shit thats been left for years by all the hippies that have lived and left this place.) I also know he was commenting on the "high" of melatonin last nite, and he was smoking pot, and taking lithium which i could see being a recipe for delusion.

Things are OK now, even tho i never found out where my food went. Everyones less sketched out, but universally weirded out now. Less tension.. I cant decide weather i should move out, or stay here.

my friend had a methhead room mate last year and he stole 4 laptops of peoples who came over his house.

one of his friends had to redo his semester cuz his powerbook with everything for al teh classes got stolen cuz of this guy.

my friend stole all the sound/music equipment this guy had and moved out....

Actually, i live in a 1911 mansion that was built by one of the first Dr. to settle in my city.

either way, this house has alot of trust going around it - and that means there's no locks. (the locks on the doors use skeleton keys, that dont work!) - we're reno'ing the house and dont want to ruin the doors by putting locks on them. I have a small hole and latch lock on my door, while im in it, anyways.
