for 12 half pints I use

6 cups verm
3 cups brf
3 cups water

and I top off the last 1/4 inch of the jars with a verm barrier.

pressure cook for 50 mins

good to go

I alternate sometimes and add a cup of rye grain seed to the mix as well.

I am a beginer... I mixed everything up in one bowl, and i noticed that its not nearly as accurate as if u mix for each jar seperatly.

I had success when doing it individually, but to each his own.....

Note, you will have leftover for each jar (brf/vermic mixture)

- Also DONT PACK the jars, leave it nice and loose just spoon it in, and cover with dry vermic. Leaving it loose makes it easier on the mycelium

All of these ratios in the faq will work and as you go you find a ratio you'll prefer.
a good idea here is to take notes of these and the results cause you'll forget and you WILL experiment not only ratios but different substrates and strains, casings...
there is so much here to learn (and forget) I've been here a year and have barely scratch the surface. READ READ READ
