Brown Rice Flour Syrup

Got a question for you guys.. Im not exactly a NEWBIE at growing but I went to the health food store today for some stuff and happened upon a jar of Brown Rice Flour Syrup... it had brown rice flour, water and a 'fungal enzyme'.... i wonder if this stuff would be good to use in a substrate? What do you crazy kids think?
