World of Warcraft, Mushrooms, and you.

Anyone else ever experienced this? I definetly reccomend going through the game in first person. I kind of felt cheesy when i first was halfway through a trip and had nothing better to do, but oh my god what an experience.

My character is an all white tauren, in fact, the only all white tauren. This is one of my favorite trips to look back on, because I find it so amusing that I was so empathic towards my characters isolation at the time. I start out walking from Thunder bluff, and began pondering my little cows place in the world. Not only is there not many Taurens in Mulgore, there wasnt a single white one!

I finally made it to the village on the outskirts of the barrens / Mulgore crossing. I started thinking about the NPC's in this village, how many actual people they come in contact with in one day. I mean, on my server alone, the wind rider in this village has probably connected me with ten thousand people, simply in the fact we both have shared the same experience.

Anyways, much to my glee I found a white tauren in this village, looking around the hut he was in all of the walls were patterned and moving beautifully around. I finally walked south of the village and ended up at a crossroad, I probably sat here for about ten minutes, playing out both paths in my minds eye, which one would take my character where, what he would feel as a result of it, how it would affect his overall happiness. I finally decided to head north, trekked through the barrens, crossroads, and made it to the gates of ashenvale, this is where things got weird.

If youve ever played warcraft or been here, you may or may not have noticed the Glaring screaming head totems dotting the pathways, these things sent me tripping balls. They kept contorting, laughing and just plain out being weird when my character was looking at them. After finally wrestling my attention from them I started to look up. If you haven't, Ashenvale is essentially a forest of Blue, Red and green super vibrant trees. I pretty much just kicked back, turned off the UI and let them do there thing, from being a static image to a swirling kaleidoscope of colour molding together before my eyes and eventually popping out of the confines of my computer screen was a very beautiful experience.

I felt a little less stoned, so me and my sitter decided to go for a walk, I was far from over. I stepped outside, everything immediately had a tribal, almost african savannah, prehistoric feel. The trees looked overgrown, bushes looked lush and fertile like you always see in renditions of the jurassic period. I attribed this to the barrens most likely, the wilderness around my house had the exact same vibe. Against the canvas of darkness leaves appeared to be suspended in mid air on close inspection. I finally found a nice looking tree and just sat down with my sitter and talked for about an hour until the trip was over.

I definetly recommend exploring warcraft under the influence, it felt very beautiful and the characters come to life in ways its almost embarrassing to admit. This was my first trip with real visuals besides the breathing effect and it definetly knocked my socks off at the time

Yeah, as cheesy as it sounds I know just what you are talking about, and it is pretty damn fun.

I know some people that would be like, "Video games on shrooms?!" But I found that I actually enjoy it thoroughly. (Sometimes. The trip has to be going in the right direction.)

The only reason I ever subscribed to WoW was to play it while I tripped!

I'd watched a friend play it on several occasions straight, and it didn't interest me much.  But one day, I went over to his place while tripping and I was HOOKED.  That art style was just PERFECT for tripping.

I liken it to the feeling you get when you eat really good tasting food or listen to really good music, except I could do it for HOURS and not get tired of it... very extreme visual and auditory stimulation, and it was VERY elating.  And the feeling would change when I went from one zone to another... Ironforge was a fun one, just because there was so much going on.  STV was another good one, because you'd have invisible creatures coming at you at random intervals.  DM was another favorite....

I dropped the game right after my pally hit 40.  Haven't messed with it for almost a year, but I was heavily considering checking out that expansion!

If you're into any console (specifically PS2) games, Amplitude, Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II are all REALLY fun.

Katamari Damacy and We <3 Katamari are very Japanese games, but I'm CONVINCED they were created SOLELY to play while shrooming!

:royalrainbow: <-- (The Katamari series is where this guy is from, if you're unfamiliar.)

i use to play daoc tripping (dxm though)..

the time dilation made it extremely hard to keep with it. i remember one time i was PvPing with a group of 7 guild members, we were attacking some keep. evidently i zoned out for 15 mins then came back saying charge etc.

fun times, but i think fps are more fun while high/tripping. it becomes life or death.... or should i say frag or be fragged
