 Universal mushroom trip day... whaddya think?

Every day is a mushroom day, but I was thinking there ought to be an international mushroom tripping day. The reason I started thinking about this is because I thought it would be fun to get a big gang together on new year's and trip into 2003, and I thought that there would probably be a lot of other people doing the same thing. Although it would be cool to do yearly mushroom trips on new year's eve, it's not the same as if there was just some day set aside that is nothing but a mushroom trip day. Some avid mushroomers might get caught up in all the things other people were doing on new years and not be in the correct situation to trip. My next idea was that solstices and equinoxes could both be good times to trip, but again, pagans love that shit. So whaddya say? Is there a special date that isn't taken up by some other festival or holiday that could become the international mushroom appreciation day? A day where more trippers than on any other day could all trip all over the world?

I would suggest that we use 28 - 29 June as it is a weekend. World Shroom Day could then be the last weekend in June every year.
It would also be good if we decide a time to trip. I'm thinking that using midnight GMT would be the best time, and then everyone can adjust to their time zones.
That way everyone around the world can drop their shrooms at exactly the same time and we could have a huge global trip. I suggest midnight GMT because it is right in the middle of the world and right in the middle of the two dates mentioned. So in London we drop at 1am (summer time is 1 hr ahead of GMT), in New Zealand they drop at 12 noon on the 29, in New York they drop at 7 pm on the 28 (remembering to adjust for summer time if they use it).
What think everyone?

I suppose what we'll need to do is spread the word in the "real" world as the date comes close, and then when it does happen, then those of us online could put some sort of a page together with trip reports and the like to help promote it. I'll keep it in mind and bring the subject back up in June.
