Compost ?'s -- 1st timer...

Hello... Ok I am able to get the following near by:
Composted Manure With Organic Matter .5 - .5 - .5
and
Blended Mushroom Compost
--------- I did a search and it seemed most thought the Mushroom Compost is a waste of time.. However, will the Composted Manure /w Organic Matter work?
Next Question...
I've read alot of different teks on manure.. Do most people just scoop it in a pillowcase and Pasturize it anywhere from an Hour to an Hour 1/2?... Does this method end up making a big mess (In the pillowcase and all) -- Opposed to putting it in an oven bag, adding water, and then pasturizing the same?...
Thanks!..

I have NOT used dung or compost as of yet, but since you seem anxious for some kind of an answer, I'll post my thoughts until you hear from someone more experienced.
From what I have read most ppl use a pillowcase because they can hang it and allow it to drain and cool until the proper moisture level and temp has been acheived. Seems simpler to me than using some manner of plastic bag and either hoping that you end up with the proper moisture in the end, or finding some other way to add or drain off water until proper level.
Just seems simpler and less of a mess to do it in the cheap ass or old pillow case, carry it outside, and hang it up till its ready. If you are worried about a few drips, pour off the bulk of the water and carry it out in the pot, then hang it.
Hopefully, someone with a bit more experience will either confirm or speak up if I've led you astray...
