It just seems to take up spots on the message board that have nothing to do with people on the Shroomery.

What is with the girl trying to brag about how popular she is on MySpace? Why should my real question be pushed down and out of the board to page 2? For something so lame as that?

Stupid topics just kill real questions. This isn't even a question to me!! It is self enulged egotistical behavior to increase ones self-esteem via internet.

oh come on guys. whats wrong with myspace. its just like AIM but you dont have to be online simultanesly to stay in touch wiht someone. as far as the party bust thing goes, thats kinda wierd. i find out about alot of underground raves and so far so good. its the backyard parties that always seem to get busted.

use it for what its worth.

Nah, this is the right place... I don't even have a MySpace... my point was who cares what's posted here? Bump your oxygen thread (nice glass by the way) if you want... but there's a variety of topics in here, not all have to do with drug related topics!

I know that is why i post my topics not related to drugs here. But people still ask about extractions and getting high. Allot of thees should be in the psychedelic experiance, but even then it is over crowded as well. Alot of people see, but allot of people push topics down as well. Topics that should be addressed other places. Or other sites. Like MySpace.

MySpace is the lamest thing I have seen in years. Instead of advertising how lame your little life is, go and get some friends who like to do something other than sit there and myspace all day. Why would you want to put your life out there for the public to see anyways?

My brothers house was checked by the police at 8pm before it got dark, this Halloween by the police. In the middle of the damn mountains! (very few police usually patrol) They claimed to have seen multiple reports that there was going to be a huge party and concert at his house. They wanted to see permits and let him know the law. They claimed their source to be MySpace.

I don't know if anyone has been caught for dealing, but i imagine the DA would use any compromising posts that to their advantage , if someone were to be legitimately caught for distribution.

-PS no permits and we still had the band play till 3am! Fuk the neighbors, there is only one around to actually hear.

This was a pretty hostile post, what do you have against myspace? 

I don't have a story as awesome as Bo0's, but I have found a lot of people that I have lost touch with over the years, and made a few cool friends through myspace as well.  I'm also able to keep in touch with family acrossthe country, and post picture of what's going on in my life, whether it be pictures of travelling, my pets, me and my fiancee, or anything else.  It's an easy way to stay up to date on people you care about, and I don't see anything wrong with that :shrug:  I DO however, have a problem with the little 13-14 uear old girls on there that pose half naked on their pages, it's a little ridiculous.  Or the guys who take pictures in the mirror with no shirts on :lol:  I mean I guess whatever, to each their own I suppose. 

But I read the other day about a few families who are suing myspace because their daughters met older guys on the site and wound up having sex with them or getting sexually assaulted or something.  While I agree that what the GUYS did was wrong in terms of going after younger girls, I think it's bullshit for the parents to sue myspace.  In my opinion, they should be keeping closer tabs on their kids, and what their little girls are doing online, instead of blaming someone else when their "innocent little girl" runs off and meets a guy 5 years older than she is.  Just my 2 cents.

Liz: OK in this matter i believe that MySpace should be at fault. They make so much money creating internet social "crack fiends" they can afford to at least keep tabs on how old thees girls are talking about meeting up with much older guys.

The shroomry knows it is could be responsible for people advocating eating poisonous mushrooms on purpose. This is why we have moderators, who ban thees people spreding around dangerous information. Why doesn't MySpace. If they got enough money to advertise through the TV, then they can hire some moderators.
